Welcome to the ZNA Potomac Koi Show Site:
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for considering the 2011 ZNA Potomac Koi Show. We are excited about this year’s program and location. The move from the National Arboretum to Meadowlark Gardens was a positive move for you the exhibitor and for everyone who wanted to visit and see some of the finest Koi on the East Coast as we expect to have 200+ koi at this event. Our show is now considered to be one of the larger shows in the USA. We will also have some of the best National vendors selling both Koi and merchandise. The Judging will be conducted by highly experienced ZNA and AKCA judges. The awards ceremony will be Saturday evening at the Park during the reception.
Please complete the registration forms and the Koi Tank Load forms. The forms should be submitted as early as possible to ensure that your tank(s) is/are reserved. Also in an effort to normalize the judging sizing system we are switching from the US Standard of Size 1, Size 2 etc to the BU system that is used everywhere else in the world. To help you switch to this we have created measurement chart with both inches and millimeters. We expect to have some exceptional entries this year so please get your forms in as soon as possible.
In addition, the 2011 Koi Show will host the Northern Va Bonsai Society which has agreed to setup a display and answer questions about their club and bonsai techniques. Other seminars and discussions will be on-going during the event.
The Park will be open for your enjoyment, with Koi Show visitors receiving a discounted admission to the Park. So plan to come early and stay all day both Saturday and Sunday. Thanks!
